The UK branch of Slow Food has welcomed a 70% increase in membership since January and has announced a new structure of the organisation.
Now called Slow Food in the UK, this umbrella organisation now oversees four nation groups: Slow Food England, Slow Food Northern Ireland, Slow Food Scotland and Slow Food Cymru Wales. Sustain member Slow Food in the UK say this new devolved structure will make them more local and more responsive. See a full list of Sustain members.
