Food thinkers seek harmony in Wales

Farmers, activists, academics and commentators -- a dazzling range of food thinkers and doers -- will gather in Wales in July for the Sustainable Food Trust's conference on the theme of Harmony in Food and Farming.

The principle of harmony, and its power to bind, heal and balance the challenges that confront our food and farming systems, is the theme of Sustain member the Sustainable Food Trust's forthcoming conference. In a range of parallel sessions, panellists will engage participants on the harmony that underpins food, agriculture and other spheres, including the environment, education, health and music. On the afternoon of the second day of the conference, there will be a series of field trips to local producers. The event takes place on 10-11 July, at Llandovery College in Carmarthenshire.
