A survey of thousands of primary schools in England revealed the value in providing healthy fruits and vegetables every school day.

The survey was conducted by Kidsfruit, a division of Minor Weir and Willis Ltd, a major supplier of the School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme. The scheme provides a free piece of fruit or vegetable to 2.3M children in KS1 in16,600 state funded primary schools in England each school day. The survey was conducted during June and July 2020 and received 2,256 replies.
