New report on obesity link to cancer

Cancer Research UK and the UK Health Forum have published a new report predicting 700,000 new cancer cases by 2035 due to rising rates of overweight and obesity.

The report also estimates that by 2030 more people will be obese than overweight. Cancer Research UK say small changes in lifestyle could have an impact on these figures and are calling for a 9pm watershed ban on TV advertising of junk food as well as a tax on sugary drinks.
