Looking back, looking forward

The Centre for Food Policy at City, University of London, which has many alumni working in the sustainable food sector, celebrated 22 years of teaching and research with a report and symposium.

One of Sustain's oldest members, the Centre for Food Policy at City, University of London, has recently marked a significant transition. Professor Tim Lang, who founded the Centre 22 years ago, stepped back from his position as Director, to be replaced by the scholar of global nutrition policy Professor Corinna Hawkes.

The Centre celebrated the occasion by publishing a report looking at what has been achieved -- and at what remains to be done. The report was launched at the Centre's 7th annual Food Symposium, held at City on 12th December, the video of which which will be available online in January.
