Working together to get local food on the national menu

A new book by Dr Alan Hunt of Newcastle University outlines research comparing local food group strategies in the UK and the US and their impact on national food policy. 

Dr Hunt’s research finds that ways of working together, such as collaborative policy coalitions and social-movement building strategies are more effective in changing national policy.
