The Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance is questioning a new trade deal which it fears could sign away Australian sovereign rights.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal involves Australia as well as other nations including Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and the United States. The AFSA is concerned that since the US Senate resolved to 'fast-track' the agreement it could be negotiated and signed behind closed doors.
