News: Neighbourhood food growing festival takes root in Nottingham

Nottingham's first neighbourhood food growing festival took place in June. It featured a range of workshops, talks, demos, music, local food vendors, community outreach groups and community growing spaces. Coordinated by Nottingham Good Food Partnership (NGFP) and sponsored by University of Nottingham Future Food, the event engaged the public in food growing and helped to connect residents with local growing spaces.

News: Support Kye's bikeride fundraiser for Children's Food Campaign

One teenager has got so fed up with being bombarded by marketing for energy drinks and sugary snacks, that he has been inspired to cycle around Holland to raise funds for the Children's Food Campaign and to promote our work. Kye Viney set off on 1st May with his dad to cycle the 1500km of the Ronde von Nederland route.  He is making good progress, despite some stormy weather early on.
