Community Food and Health (Scotland) funding opportunities for 2015 will open on 12 June. This year they are looking for groups involved in food and health activities in low-income communities. Sainsbury’s just gave African fair trade farmers a real kick in the teeth. The supermarket has devised its own ‘fairly traded’ accreditation system, snubbing the well established independent Fairtrade Foundation scheme. But I’m not buying it (although I did buy their fair trade tea).
