Every day London's Urban Farmers and Growers face the challenges of the seasons as well as pressure on land. And for those trying to make a living growing food, they have the added competition of cheap food as a result of our broken food system.
Urban Food Fortnight celebrates and supports urban farmers and growers to thrive in our city and there are a number of ways you can get involved

Capital Growth launched in 2008 to set up 2,012 new community gardens in London has welcomed over 3000 members into the network during this time.
Capital Growth is part of food and farming charity Sustain and receives support from the Mayor of London and Big Lottery Heritage Fund.
