Protecting the Agriculture of Mountain Indigenous People

The IIED (International Institute for Environment and Development) have published a report on the Tuggoz Declaration on climate change and mountain indigenous peoples.

Over 50 indigenous peoples and traditional farmers from 10 countries gathered in Tajikistan in September 2015. They've set up a network of Mountain Indigenous Peoples as well as an International Network of Community Seed Banks in order to safeguard local crop varieties, livestock, wildlife and forests in the face of climate change. You can find the report on the IIED website. See a full list of Sustain members.
