Mayoral candidates challenged to extend free school meals

A coalition of organisations has launched Family Friendly London, challenging Mayoral candidates to commit to tackling child poverty.

Supporting the coalition's manifesto, they have called on Mayoral candidates to provide a free school meal to all primary school pupils, and to commit to a phased roll out of universal free school meals.

Sustain's London Food Link, and member Child Poverty Action Group are part of the Family Friendly London alliance.
